Skiing this Season

So this is our first ski season together and we thought it'd be ok. I'm a beginner skiier and Kenny is ... well he grew up in Vermont and that's how they got to school so you get the picture. Well we discovered this winter that the first time Kenny and I do anything together it doesn't usually go well. We couldn't get up Longspeak due to a hangover, forgot to make dinner reservations for Phantom of the Opera, spoiled each other's Christmas presents a week before Christmas... yada yada you get the idea.

These pictures are of a lake near Mt. Evans. Not sure what the name was and the only reason we're there is because we got all the way up to the lift before realizing it was a blackout day on our pass.




But we did finally get to go skiing and even tried snowboarding one day. We figure next season will be better because it won't be our first season anymore.
